  • Water Conditions

    On calm days, the waters can be beautifully flat and turquoise blue. Due to the mix of Salt and Fresh water, the water temperatures and water colour can drastically change based on the time of year. The Howe Sound does also experience winds in the afternoons and evenings throughout the summer, the waters are then slightly choppier during this time. Planning your outing around the wind and tide is always a great thing. We would be happy to help you with that!

The Squamish Estuary

This calm and beautiful paddle brings you through the Wildlife Management Area of Squamish where the potential wildlife sightings are endless. Navigate through winding paths of nature’s paradise and enjoy some of the best views of the ever so popular Stawamus Chief.

The Howe Sound

Paddle South for an open water adventure. Passing by the powerful Shannon Falls, you will likely see the seals and otters that rest of the floating logs and small islands in the channel as well as near Brittania Beach. Hop out to take a break on a private beach and perhaps even enjoy the warmer Ocean Waters that are located South of the Howe Sound.

The Mamquam River

With kilometers of River Way, a paddle down the river could be a full day adventure. Pack the kayak with everything you need to paddle or simply float down this beautiful riverway enjoying endless waterfalls, beautiful vegetation and spectacular mountain views. You might even get lucky and come down during our Salmon Runs where you have the potential of seeing thousands of Salmon rushing upstream to spawn.

Alice Lake

These calm and warmer waters are the perfect place for a day of Family Fun on the water. With launches located at either side of the lake, this space is made for exploring. Spend hours or simply minutes paddling around and enjoying the water. Flexibility and comfort are at their all time high in this accessible family friendly environment.
